Edirne Deputy Governor Erdoğan Beypınar passes away after heart attack
Edirne Deputy Governor and Kapıkule Border Gate Administrative Chief Erdoğan Beypınar has passed away at the age of 59 following a heart attack.
According to the information received, Beypınar, who had been feeling unwell for a few days, arrived at the Edirne Sultan 1st Murat State Hospital in the evening upon the insistence of his family.
It was determined that he had suffered a heart attack and he was urgently taken for an angiography.
Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer arrived at the hospital and received information from Health Director İshak Yıldırım.
Despite the intensive efforts of the medical team, Beypınar could not be saved.
Upon receiving the news of his death, local bureaucrats and protocol members arrived at the hospital to offer their condolences to the Beypınar family.
WHO IS ERDOĞAN BEYPINAR?
Born in 1966 in the Yenişehir district of Bursa, Beypınar graduated from the Marmara University Faculty of Law.
Having served as a deputy governor in Karaman and Kırklareli, as well as a district governor in Ağaçören, Çukurca, Karacasu, Üzümlü, Gördes, and Pınarhisar, Beypınar was appointed as the Deputy Governor of Edirne two years ago.
Beypınar was married and a father of one child.
