The most trusted institution in Turkey has been revealed: 1 in every 4 people...

ASAL Research Company asked citizens the question, "In your opinion, which is the most trusted institution in Turkey today?" in a public opinion poll conducted across Turkey between June 12 and June 21, 2025.

According to the prominent results of the survey, the most trusted institutions are as follows:

Turkish Armed Forces (TSK): 18%

National Intelligence Organization (MİT): 13.5%

General Directorate of Security: 10.6%

THE MOST UNTRUSTED CATEGORY: "NONE"

The most striking result of the survey was that 24.9% of participants responded with "I do not trust any institution." This rate ranked higher than all listed institutions and highlighted the current state of the institutional trust crisis.

The trust rates for other institutions included in the survey were ranked as follows:

Presidency: 8.3%

Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM): 8.1%

ÖSYM: 2.2%

Supreme Election Council (YSK): 2.0%

Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet): 1.9%

Municipalities and Judiciary: 1.6%

TÜİK: 1.3%

Banks: 1.2%

Politicians: 1.0%

Media: 0.8%
