He had been detained: Ruling on CHP's Görele Mayor!
Hasbi Dede, the Mayor of the Görele district in Giresun, gave a statement as part of an investigation into a message allegedly shared on social media. Dede was released by the court under judicial control conditions.
CHP's Görele Mayor Hasbi Dede was summoned to give a statement by the Görele Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following a complaint filed against him. Dede, who went to the courthouse in the evening, was referred to the duty magistrate with a request for his arrest after his statement was taken at the prosecutor's office.

The court ruled for Hasbi Dede to be tried without arrest and decided to impose judicial control measures. It was stated that Dede's mobile phones were also seized for examination as part of the investigation.

APOLOGIZED UPON LEAVING THE COURTHOUSE
Making a brief statement to the citizens waiting for him outside the courthouse, Dede said, "We all came here together on April 4, 2024, and received our certificate of election. Today, I appeared before a judge. I apologize for embarrassing you today. But from now on, we will continue to serve even more strongly. I swear again on my honor and dignity that I will continue the duty you have given me for 5 years even more strongly. We will not bow down to these conspiracies; we will stand tall."

It was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
