While betting investigations remain on the agenda in Turkish sports, a new claim has been made regarding basketball.

In his assessment, Sinan Burhan claimed that a betting investigation would also come to the agenda in basketball. MHK PRESIDENT GÜNDOĞDU ALSO DETAINED

On the other hand, as part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an operation was carried out this morning targeting the Central Referee Board (MHK).

In the operation, 7 suspects, including MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu, were detained. It was reported that the investigation is examining allegations regarding interference in the formation of referee classifications, assignment, scoring and appointment processes, and rule examinations. It was announced that in addition to the statements of complainants and witnesses, expert reports, HTS (Historical Traffic Search) records, and MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) records are also being evaluated.

It was reported that among those detained, in addition to MHK President Ferhat Gündoğdu, are TFF Active Referees Association President Ferdi Karadoruk, former MHK Deputy President Ahmet Şahin, former MHK member Yunus Yıldırım, TFF Training and 4th Region Supervisor Sebahattin Şahin, TFF Referees and Observers Association Istanbul Branch Organization Supervisor Alican Sağlar, and Istanbul Provincial Referee Board President Emre Kosif.
