Major losses in Özgür Özel's party: MPs who voted 'no' to the framework law in the NEW Party revealed
Although NEW Party leader Özgür Özel announced that he would vote 'yes' to the framework law prepared within the scope of the second peace process, 54 MPs from his party did not approve the law.
The Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration, prepared as part of the second resolution process and known in the public as the 'framework law', has been accepted in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Assembly.
NEW Party leader Özgür Özel, who gave a long speech in Parliament, announced that he would vote 'yes' to the framework law after criticizing the AKP government and its policies. He stated that his MPs were free to vote as they chose.
