Manisa Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek's daughter makes 'beyond negligence' statement regarding father's electrical accident
Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek was seriously injured after being electrocuted at his home. His daughter, Nehir Zeyrek, shared the details of the incident on social media.
Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek was rushed to the hospital in critical condition following an electric shock at his home and is currently receiving treatment in intensive care.
Following the incident, his daughter Nehir Zeyrek claimed in a statement on her social media account that the accident was caused by negligence.
Nehir Zeyrek included the following statements in her explanation:
"The accident was caused by negligence. My father spoke with the installation technician on June 5 and suspected that some things were not right. However, the authorized person stated that everything was normal.
My father noticed that the motor was not working on June 6, and when he went down to the boiler room just to check the motor, he was subjected to an electric shock.
The fact that the electric shock occurred on his leg shows that the incident was not caused by something my father did with his hands.
It is understood that the residual current device was either not working or was not present at all.
There are allegations that the voltage was intentionally increased, which is a situation that goes beyond negligence."
Nehir Zeyrek stated that her father is in intensive care and that they need prayers, and she demanded that those responsible be punished.
