Moving semi-truck catches fire in Esenyurt: TEM Highway closed to traffic in the Edirne direction
Traffic on the TEM Highway in the Edirne direction has been halted due to a fire that broke out in a moving semi-truck in Bahçeşehir, Esenyurt.
A fire broke out in a semi-truck moving on the TEM Highway in Bahçeşehir, Esenyurt, Istanbul. In the incident, which occurred around 16:30, flames began to rise from the vehicle for an as-yet-unknown reason.
As the fire grew rapidly and engulfed the truck, fire and police teams were dispatched to the area following reports from bystanders. Efforts to extinguish the fire were initiated.
Due to the fire, the Edirne direction of the TEM Highway has been closed to traffic. While teams continue their work at the scene, an investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched.
