New arrest in the investigation of missing baby Büşra
In the investigation regarding 11-month-old Büşra, who has been searched for days in the Divriği district of Sivas, M.K., who is alleged to have taken the baby, has been apprehended.
A new development has occurred in the investigation into the disappearance of 11-month-old Büşra in the Divriği district of Sivas. Following the statements of the family's other children, M.K., who is alleged to have received the baby alive in exchange for a debt, was taken into custody in the Ergani district of Diyarbakır.
E.B., who works in animal husbandry in the rural area of Divriği, had called the gendarmerie days ago to report that their 11-month-old baby, Büşra, was missing. Following the report, AFAD and gendarmerie teams launched a search operation in the region.
While the statements of family members were being taken as part of the investigation, it was initially suggested that the baby might have been abducted by wild animals. However, due to contradictory statements from family members, different allegations emerged in the case.
It was stated that the mother, E.B., first claimed in her statement that the baby was sold by her father for money, and later alleged that her husband had killed the baby. It was reported that E.B. was arrested along with 5 other people last night and sent to prison.
Finally, it was alleged that the family's other children, R.B. and H.B., stated that their sister Büşra was given away alive in exchange for a debt. Upon this statement, M.K. was apprehended in Ergani and brought to Divriği for questioning.
After initial processing at the gendarmerie, M.K. was taken to the hospital for a health check before being referred to the courthouse. The investigation is ongoing.
