New development in drug investigation involving celebrities: Individual whose correspondence with young girls was found on his computer is back in custody

A new development has occurred in the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities. It has been reported that Koray Beşli, who was previously processed as part of the investigation, has been taken back into custody due to new findings reportedly reached during the examination of digital materials.

According to the information obtained, Beşli's phone, computer, and other digital materials were subjected to forensic digital examination. It was alleged that correspondence and images concerning children under the age of 18 were found during these examinations.

It was stated that technical evaluation regarding the scope and legal nature of the digital content in question is ongoing. It was also expressed that the prosecutor's office is scrutinizing the individuals and connections mentioned in the correspondence allegedly contained in the materials.

Following the new findings, a new detention order was issued for Beşli by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was learned that the processing of Beşli, who was taken into custody by police teams, is continuing at the police station.

It was conveyed that the investigation is continuing in a multi-faceted manner and that new assessments may be made in the file after the digital examinations are completed.
