It has been reported that the assets of 141 people have been frozen as part of a fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
It was stated that the investigation is continuing within the framework of allegations of money laundering of assets deemed to have been obtained through the crimes of "qualified fraud" and "violation of the Capital Markets Law."
According to Halk TV, the individuals whose assets were frozen include former minister Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who was expelled from the AKP, and İlyas Kaya, as well as TERA CEO Emre Tezmen.

It was also noted that the name of Melis Sütşurup Sandal, the wife of Mustafa Sandal, is on the list.
It was stated that the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office sent a letter to the Capital Markets Board and the Central Bank Presidency, requesting that suspicious transactions regarding the individuals on the list be reported to the prosecutor's office without delay.
The letter specified that the decision does not cover pension payments. It was also requested from the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs, and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation to determine whether there are any real estate, ships, or aircraft registered in the names of the individuals on the list and to freeze those assets.
It had previously been reported that proceedings had been initiated against 214 natural and legal persons deemed to have earned over 100 million as part of the investigation.
