Number of damaged houses in Adana earthquake announced
According to initial assessments, 6 houses were damaged in the 5.0-magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Kozan district of Adana.
The Kozan Municipality, the Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), and the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) continued damage assessment efforts in the field following the earthquake that struck the district.
Within the scope of these efforts, it was determined that 6 houses sustained damage in the Karabucak and Minnetli neighborhoods of the district, according to initial findings.

Citizens were evacuated from structures deemed risky and taken to safe areas.
Adana Governor Yavuz Selim Köşker stated in a post on his social media account, "There has been no loss of life or collapsed structures in the earthquake centered in Minnetli that occurred at 20:07 in Kozan. Damage in the form of plaster cracks has occurred in some village houses, and assessment efforts are ongoing. Efforts are underway to resolve power outages in five rural neighborhoods, and field operations are being meticulously carried out by AFAD teams and accredited NGOs within the scope of TAMP. We once again convey our best wishes to all our fellow citizens in Adana."
