The Provincial Police Chiefs Decree has entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette. 69 personnel changes were made in the central and provincial organizations. The police chiefs of 24 provinces were reassigned to the headquarters, and the police chiefs of 39 provinces were changed.
Among those reassigned to the headquarters is Hasan Yiğit, the Police Chief of Kahramanmaraş, where a school massacre took place.
