President Erdoğan holds phone call with Iraqi Prime Minister Sudani
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.
President Erdoğan spoke over the phone with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Iraq, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed. In the conversation, President Erdoğan stated that the process for a "Terror-Free Turkey" is being conducted with sensitivity, that Turkey aims to permanently eradicate terrorism from the region, that steps will continue to be taken with determination, and that they will remain vigilant against those attempting to undermine the process.
President Erdoğan also noted that Turkey and Iraq continue to develop their relations by evaluating cooperation opportunities in many areas, primarily the Development Road project, based on the principle of mutual gain.
