Published in the Official Gazette: Visa exemption for Romanian citizens
Visa requirements will be lifted for Romanian citizens traveling to Turkey for tourism purposes. The decision in question has been published in the Official Gazette.
A Presidential decree regarding the provision of visa exemption for Romanian citizens holding national identity cards for their tourist trips and transit passages to Turkey has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Romanian citizens holding national identity cards will be granted visa exemption for tourist trips and transit passages to Turkey with a maximum stay of 90 days within every 180-day period.
The decision in question was issued in accordance with Article 18 of the Law on Foreigners and International Protection No. 6458.
