Sincere dialogue with DEM Party: Erdoğan failed to recognize Tülay Hatimoğulları
After his speech at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan first went to the DEM Party benches but did not shake hands with DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları. At the reception, Erdoğan went to the DEM Party table and said, "Excuse me," but this time he failed to recognize Hatimoğulları.
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) resumed work yesterday following a 2.5-month recess. After completing his opening speech, AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan first went to the DEM Party benches and shook hands with DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan. The fact that Erdoğan did not shake hands with Tülay Hatimoğulları and Sezai Temelli became a subject of curiosity.
Following the General Assembly session, Erdoğan met with members of parliament and political party leaders at a reception.
Erdoğan went to the DEM Party's table and offered his apologies. However, Erdoğan failed to recognize Hatimoğulları.
Despite the DEM Party group pointing to Hatimoğulları, he turned to Salihe Aydeniz and offered his apology to her instead.
