Strong northeasterly wind in Tekirdağ! Warning issued against entering the sea
In Tekirdağ, gendarmerie and coast guard teams have warned citizens not to enter the sea due to strong northeasterly winds. Announcements were made particularly along the beaches of Kumbağ, Şarköy, and Marmaraereğlisi to highlight the danger of drowning. Yesterday, Özcan Arslan, who had been in danger of drowning in the sea in Kumbağ, lost his life.

Those wishing to enter the sea along the city's coastline, particularly in Kumbağ, Şarköy, and Marmaraereğlisi, were warned by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command and the Coast Guard Command through announcements against potential drowning incidents due to the northeasterly wind, which is expected to be effective for 2 days.
In the announcement requesting residents not to enter the sea, the phrase "Dear citizens, entering the sea is dangerous due to the strong wind expected in our region until the evening hours. For your own safety, you are kindly requested to heed the warnings" was used.
ONE PERSON LOST THEIR LIFE
Yesterday, 21-year-old Özcan Arslan, who had entered the sea with his friends in the Kumbağ neighborhood, was in danger of drowning. Arslan, who was taken to the Tekirdağ İsmail Fehmi Cumalıoğlu City Hospital by medical teams, lost his life.
