M.A., a resident of Çekmeköy, Istanbul, met with individuals he contacted online to secure a large loan. After being told, 'you need to pay 77,000 TL for the loan,' M.A. handed over the money to the suspects. When the promised loan did not materialize, M.A. filed a complaint with the police, alleging he had been defrauded. Teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Fraud Bureau took 6 suspects into custody.

M.A., a resident of Istanbul's Çekmeköy district, began searching online to meet his financial needs.

He later contacted individuals he reached by phone. The suspects stated they would resolve M.A.'s loan issues and requested that a 77,000 TL insurance fee be delivered in person.

According to the allegations, the suspects had him sign fake documents they brought, saying, "Bank managers will approve it. There will be no problem."

WAITED FOR 3 MONTHS

After waiting for approximately 3 months without any progress regarding the loan, M.A. realized he had been defrauded and went straight to the police. Launching an investigation following the complaint, teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Fraud Bureau contacted the suspects, stating that they were in need of a loan.

6 INDIVIDUALS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

Meeting the suspects at a rendezvous point in the Ümraniye district, police teams took Ahmet Ö., Baran A., Doğan D., Muhammet Can A., Serkan Ç., who handled accounting matters, and Emrah Ç. into custody.
