6 people, including 1 child, were injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the Kozan district of Adana.
According to the information obtained, the accident took place on the Kozan-Feke highway at the Kozan Dam Bridge.
It is alleged that the vehicle with license plate 80 ABP 947, driven by İsmail İ., collided with the vehicle with license plate 80 AUA 347, driven by Mehmet Y., which was coming from the opposite direction.
As a result of the collision, Ümmügülsüm Y. (47), Battal Y. (84), Mustafa Tunahan K. (34), Sariye K. (34), 7-year-old Feyza Betül K., and Mahmut İ. (53), who were in the cars, were injured.
A large number of ambulances and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
The first intervention for the injured was performed by medical teams at the scene of the accident.
It was learned that 7-year-old Feyza Betül K., one of the injured who were then transported to Kozan State Hospital by ambulance, remains in serious condition. While the drivers were slightly injured in the accident, it was stated that the other injured individuals are not in life-threatening condition.
Gendarmerie teams have launched a detailed investigation into the accident.
