It was reported that Ambassador Elizabeth Richard, Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the U.S. Department of State, would visit Ankara today (22.04.2024) for the U.S.-Turkey Counterterrorism Consultations. During the meeting, many issues related to national security were discussed.

Turkey stated it is sincere in the fight against terrorism

Ambassador Elizabeth Richard, Coordinator for Counterterrorism, visited Ankara today (22.04.2024) for the U.S.-Turkey Counterterrorism Consultations.

During the meeting, many issues related to national security were discussed, including the terrorist organizations PKK/YPG/PYD, DHKP/C, ISIS, and FETÖ.

"TURKEY WILL CONTINUE SINCERE COOPERATION"

The following statements were made during the meeting:

"As a country with vast experience in the fight against terrorism and one that continues this struggle with determination, Turkey will continue its sincere cooperation with its allies and all countries determined to fight against terrorism, with the aim of combating all forms and manifestations of terrorism."
