Two people were injured in an accident involving a dump truck loaded with debris that was traveling on the TEM highway in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul.
The accident occurred in the morning hours near the gate of the AKOM campus. The truck, whose driver reportedly lost steering control, first veered off the road and struck a vehicle.
The out-of-control truck then breached the security barriers of the AKOM campus and entered the premises. The truck, which also hit a shuttle vehicle parked inside the campus, came to a stop after overturning.
Following the accident, medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The two injured individuals received initial treatment and were transported to the hospital. The parked shuttle vehicle sustained material damage.
It was learned that the moment of the accident was captured by AKOM's security cameras.
