IETT bus crashes into pole in Esenyurt
The driver of an IETT bus and some passengers were injured after the vehicle struck a road sign pole in Esenyurt.
The IETT bus with license plate 34 KT 9712, traveling in the direction of Edirne on the D-100 highway, struck a road sign pole on the median at the Esenyurt section of the side road.
Following the accident, the bus driver became trapped in the vehicle, and some passengers were injured.
Upon notification, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

Efforts by fire crews to extricate the bus driver from where he is trapped are ongoing.
Some passengers injured in the accident were transported to the hospital by ambulance following initial intervention by medical teams.

Long vehicle queues formed on the side road, which was closed to traffic by the police due to the accident.
