Yeni Parti Spokesperson Emre: We don't even think there is a single person in Turkey who confuses Yeni Parti with Yenilik Partisi

The Yeni Parti Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting was held under the chairmanship of Yeni Parti Chairman Özgür Özel.

Yeni Parti Spokesperson Zeynel Emre made statements regarding the MYK agenda at the party headquarters. Emre explained that they discussed domestic and foreign issues during the meeting.

Emre said, "Under a Yeni Parti government, we will develop the education system with a scientific and public-oriented approach that will be an example to the world. Schools will be in a safe condition.

Children will have the opportunity to have at least one healthy meal. We will not allow the gap between private schools and public schools to widen to this extent. These issues will be reviewed again with a public-oriented approach," he stated.

Stating that an application had been made regarding the allegation of confusion concerning the name of Yeni Parti, Emre said, "There has been an application regarding the allegation of confusion related to our party's name. This application is not new.

This application was made by Yenilik Partisi, based on the claim of name similarity. This application was made in August. We received notification of this beforehand. In such cases, the Public Prosecutor's Office sends a written notification to the relevant party.

We don't even think there is a single person in Turkey who confuses Yeni Parti with Yenilik Partisi. Let us state that any discussion revolving around our name is meaningless, that these are procedural matters, and that they have absolutely no connection to our party's organization, membership structure, legal personality, or eligibility to participate in elections. We are protecting our name.

There is a possibility of taking it to the Constitutional Court. We do not know if they will take it or not. That is their own discretion. If they do take it, it depends on the decision the Constitutional Court will make, and in that case, any regulation can of course be made while protecting the YENİ name," he declared.
