Vodafone and Samsung have expanded their collaboration, which aims to facilitate access to 5G-compatible devices in Turkey, with the Galaxy A27 5G model. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G 6/128GB was offered to customers under Vodafone FLEX with an option to bill to the account for up to 12 months.
According to the statement made by the companies, more than 60 thousand customers were reached in the first three months through communication efforts for the model, additional support benefits, and a trade-in campaign that contributes to environmental recycling by collecting old technological devices.
Vodafone Turkey CEO Engin Aksoy stated that one of the important conditions for the transition to 5G is owning a 5G-compatible device. Aksoy expressed that they differentiated themselves in the market last year with the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G model through a sales model exclusive to Vodafone, and that they aim to maintain the same success this year with the Galaxy A27 5G.
The Samsung side emphasized that the collaboration is part of their goal to bring the latest mobile technologies to a wider user base. The company stated that while facilitating access to technology in the entry and mid-range segments, they also offer solutions such as trade-ins and installments for the Galaxy S series and the foldable Galaxy Z series.
Samsung Electronics Turkey CEO Billy Kim said that they aim to make AI-supported features in communication, content creation, and daily tasks a natural part of users' lives with Galaxy AI. Kim noted that they are facilitating the transition to 5G with the Galaxy A27 5G as part of their long-standing collaboration with Vodafone.
