Boydak family's shares confiscated!
The confiscation of the 22.34 percent stake held by 11 defendants, including former board members of Boydak Holding and family members who are being tried in the FETÖ case, in Türkiye Finans Bank has been ordered.
As part of an investigation conducted in Kayseri, an indictment was prepared for the confiscation of the shares of 11 members of the Boydak family in Türkiye Finans Bank on the grounds that they were used in the financing of FETÖ. Memduh and İlyas Boydak, who are convicted in another case, and non-custodial defendants Şükrü and Sami Boydak were present at the final hearing of the case held at the 2nd High Criminal Court.
22.34 PERCENT OF THEIR SHARES CONFISCATED
Bekir and Mustafa Boydak, brothers who are convicted in another case, attended the hearing from prison via the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS). Five non-custodial defendants did not attend the hearing. The defendants stated that they did not accept the indictment, which requested the confiscation of their shares in the bank in question due to alleged links and affiliations with FETÖ, and requested that this demand be rejected.
The court panel, in its ruling, decided to confiscate a total of 22.34 percent of the shares held by the 11 defendants in Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası.
