Childcare support for working mothers increased to 7,500 liras
Support provided under the Positive Discrimination for Women's Employment Project (KİPAP) has been increased. According to information announced by Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, the childcare support provided to working mothers has been raised from 3,000 liras to 7,500 liras. Additionally, the wage, premium, and tax support has been increased from 25,000 liras to 32,000 liras.
Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced on the social media platform X that the support provided to increase women's participation in the workforce has been increased.
In this context, the wage, premium, and tax support offered to female employees under the 'Positive Discrimination for Women's Employment Project' (KİPAP) has been raised from 25,000 liras to 32,000 liras. Furthermore, the childcare support provided to ensure that working mothers can remain in registered employment has been increased from 3,000 liras to 7,500 liras.
Minister Işıkhan announced that KİPAP, which was initially implemented in only 25 provinces, is now valid in all 81 provinces of Turkey. Additionally, the scope of KİPAP has been expanded sectorally; while it previously only covered the manufacturing sector, this support now includes the health, information, and communication sectors.
