CHP calls emergency meeting following extraordinary volatility in the stock market
The CHP will meet at 12:00 to address the risks that may arise from sharp price movements and rapid fund growth in Borsa İstanbul.
Following developments in the Borsa İstanbul markets, a decision has been made for an emergency meeting of the CHP Economy Desk.
Atakan Sönmez, press advisor to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP Chairmanship by a decision of absolute nullity, announced in a statement on his social media account that the meeting will be held at 12:00.
In Sönmez's post, it was stated that the extraordinary price movements in the stock market have left hundreds of thousands of savers in a difficult financial position. It was also noted that the risks that could be created by very rapid fund growth would be on the meeting's agenda.
