CMB imposes trading bans on 4 individuals
The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has imposed a six-month trading ban on four individuals due to suspected irregularities in the stock transactions of two different companies.
In its weekly bulletin, the CMB stated that there are reasonable grounds to suspect violations of certain articles of the Capital Markets Law regarding transactions involving the shares of Avrasya Petrol ve Turistik Tesisler Yatırımlar AŞ (AVTUR) and Frigo-Pak Gıda Maddeleri Sanayi AŞ (FRIGO). It was emphasized that this situation necessitated the implementation of measures to protect the rights of investors.
In this context, it was decided to impose a six-month trading ban on one individual in the AVTUR stock market, effective from November 25, 2025. Similarly, it was announced that a six-month trading ban has been imposed on three individuals in the FRIGO stock market, effective from the same date.
