The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has issued a statement regarding the process for resuming trading of investment funds belonging to A1 Capital, Bulls, and Pardus portfolio management companies that are not under liquidation but are currently closed to trading.
The Board stated that there has been misleading information recently in some media outlets and social media channels regarding the reopening of funds closed to trading. The statement announced that for these funds to be reopened for trading on TEFAS and through non-TEFAS distribution channels, the relevant portfolio management companies must apply to Ziraat Bank.
The CMB recalled that with its decision dated September 17, all investment funds founded by A1 Capital, Bulls, Pardus, Atlas, Hedef, Pusula, and Tera portfolio management companies, whose participation shares were traded on TEFAS, were closed to both buy and sell transactions.
The statement also reminded that it was announced on September 30 that liquidation procedures would be initiated primarily for the funds founded by A1 Capital, Bulls, and Pardus portfolio management companies.
In order for the relevant funds to be reopened for trading on TEFAS and through non-TEFAS distribution channels, an application must be made to Ziraat Bank by A1 Capital Portföy Yönetimi AŞ, Bulls Portföy Yönetimi AŞ, and Pardus Portföy Yönetimi AŞ, and such applications must be forwarded to our Board by the Bank.
According to the Board's statement, once the liquidation process is completed, it will be possible for funds not under liquidation to be reopened for trading simultaneously for buy and/or sell transactions. The date of resumption of trading and the principles for buying and selling fund participation shares will be determined by the founding portfolio management companies, taking into account fund portfolio structures, liquidity, market conditions, and investor interests.
