The lowest pension amounts have been determined! When will the increased pensions be deposited into accounts?

According to the 6-month inflation data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees received a 15.75 percent raise, while Emekli Sandığı retirees received an 11.54 percent raise. With this increase, the lowest pension was raised from 12,500 liras to 14,669 liras. If the pensions of SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees remain below 14,669 liras with the inflation raise, the pensions will be topped up to this level.

LOWEST PENSION PROPOSAL IN PARLIAMENT

The regulation regarding the increase of the lowest pension to 14,469 liras has been submitted to the Speaker of the Parliament. These proposals include:

Increasing the lowest pension from 12,500 liras to 14,669 liras with a 15.75 percent raise,

Increasing the employer support for the minimum wage from 750 liras to 1,000 liras,

Increasing penalties for cybercrimes and the establishment of the Presidency of Cyber Security.

AK Party Parliamentary Group Chairman Abdullah Güler stated that approximately 3 million 900 thousand people will benefit from the lowest pension regulation and that the cost of this regulation will exceed the 33 billion liras determined in July.

WHEN WILL THE INCREASED LOWEST PENSION BE PAID?

Once the regulation in question is accepted in Parliament, it will enter into force by being published in the Official Gazette. The decision regarding the lowest pension must be published in the Official Gazette by the date the pensions are to be deposited.

WHEN WILL PENSIONS BE DEPOSITED?

SSK retirees' pensions are deposited into their accounts between the 17th and 26th of each month.

Bağ-Kur retirees' pension dates vary between the 25th and 28th of the month.
