An analysis prepared by Visual Capitalist, based on data from the UN-Habitat World Cities Report 2026, reveals how many years of income are required for an average household to purchase a home.
According to the research, it takes 12.6 years of household income to purchase an average-priced home in Turkey. With this ratio, Turkey ranked 136th out of 183 countries in the housing affordability index.
