YENİ Party Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın announced the legislative proposal they have prepared regarding the minimum wage during a press conference held at the Parliament.
Günaydın stated that with the proposal, which was also signed by Chairman Özgür Özel, they are demanding that the minimum wage be raised to at least 45 thousand 800 liras.
Stating that the proposal also includes regulations for retirees, Günaydın expressed that they foresee an additional payment of 22 thousand 248 liras for worker and tradesman retirees. Günaydın noted that with this regulation, they want the pensions in question to be brought up to the minimum wage level of 45 thousand 800 liras.
Making a call for civil servant retirees as well, Günaydın demanded the granting of a flat-rate raise, which he argued was not being provided despite it being a constitutional right. Günaydın said that an additional monthly payment of 25 thousand 153 liras should be made to civil servant retirees.
