Özgür Demirtaş responds to claims he 'earns 5 million TL from Twitter subscriptions': 'For 12 years, I have shared everything with everyone...'
A social media user claimed that economist Özgür Demirtaş earns 5 million TL per month from his X (Twitter) subscriptions. Demirtaş issued a statement regarding the claim.
An X (Twitter) user named Mustafa Vardalı made a striking claim about Prof. Dr. Özgür Demirtaş.
Vardalı alleged that Demirtaş earns nearly 5 million TL per month from his X subscriptions.

Demirtaş, whose X subscription fee is 213 TL and 40 kuruş per month, did not delay in responding to Vardalı.
'I AM VERY HAPPY'
Prof. Dr. Özgür Demirtaş, Chair of Finance at Sabancı University Faculty of Management, stated the following in a post on his X account:
"I will not remove the subscription. I am very happy, we are very happy. It is an extremely sterile environment. For 12 years, I have shared everything with everyone for free, and I continue to do so. The subscription is already aimed at business people, high-level white-collar professionals, and investors. If you are one of these, the subscription fee is already insignificant to you. If you are not one of these, the things I explain to subscribers would not be useful to you anyway, meaning you are not missing out on anything."

HE REMOVED VARDALI FROM THE SUBSCRIPTION
On the other hand, it was observed that Özgür Demirtaş removed the user named Mustafa Vardalı from his subscription list. Vardalı, who was removed from the subscription, asked, “This man is acting in strange ways. He removed me from the subscription. I wonder why he was bothered?”
