Proposal from Özgür Demirtaş regarding the 'Fatih Terim Fund' case

As the trial continues regarding the fund fraud case, often referred to as the 'Fatih Terim Fund,' which involves the names of many football players, the confessions of the parties involved continue to dominate the agenda.

While the football players, who handed over millions of dollars to a bank official they spoke with without any promissory note or signature, now claim they were defrauded, economist Özgür Demirtaş stated that the situation in question is a Ponzi scheme.

Explaining the fraud, Demirtaş suggested that the money of the victims should be recovered from those who profited from the scheme.

Here is that post by Demirtaş:

"In recent days, there has been talk of a PYRAMID SCHEME, a Ponzi fraud involving football players.

Ponzi: A sophisticated fraud that provides high returns to early investors by using the money of those who enter the system last.

The solution is simple. Whoever profited from this business should be made to pay it back.

Furthermore, if there is clear intent to evade taxes, they should also be penalized for that."
