Developments involving Tera Yatırım and its affiliated funds have also impacted Beşiktaş Futbol Yatırımları shares traded on Borsa İstanbul. The stock, traded under the ticker BJKAS, finished its last three trading sessions at the floor price.

BJKAS shares closed at 2.62 TL on September 15, fell to 2.36 TL on September 16, and dropped to 2.13 TL on September 17. On Friday, September 18, the stock fell to 1.92 TL, hitting the floor once again.

Consequently, the stock experienced a value loss of approximately 29 percent over three trading days. The fact that circuit breakers were triggered twice for BJKAS on September 16 was among the developments highlighting the scale of the selling pressure.

SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT COMES TO THE FORE

A two-year jersey back sponsorship agreement between Beşiktaş and Tera Yatırım Holding, effective from the 2026-2027 season, was announced in May. The launch of the agreement took place on August 17, where it was announced that Tera had become the jersey back sponsor for the men's football A team and the men's basketball team.

Following developments in the financial markets regarding the Tera Group, it was noted that the Tera logo was absent from the backs of the jerseys during Beşiktaş's UEFA Europa League match against Marseille. It was observed that the players' names had been moved to the area where the logo was previously located.

No official statement has yet been made by Beşiktaş or Tera regarding the termination of the sponsorship agreement. In the fund crisis centered on the Tera Group, it is reported that the Capital Markets Board has imposed liquidation and transaction restrictions on certain funds.
