Single-price policy for fuel begins!
According to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) board decision, starting tomorrow, there will be no price difference applied to the same type of fuel sold at gas stations, regardless of whether it is differentiated or not.
It has been stated that the Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EPDK) board decision regarding the sale of differentiated fuel products at the same price at stations will come into effect. In this context, prices will be updated at 13 thousand dealerships as of tomorrow.
According to the EPDK board decision, starting tomorrow, there will be no price difference applied to the same type of fuel sold at gas stations, regardless of whether it is differentiated or not.
At gas stations, products will no longer be sold at different prices using terms such as "95 octane gasoline and diesel, ultra force, power, fuelsave, VMax, VPro".
In a statement made by the EPDK, it was noted that distributor license holders may continue to sell differentiated fuel, but these features will not change the price.
Regarding the decision, which aims to prevent uncertainties for consumers and provide convenience in the operations of distributors and dealers, the statement included the following: "In Turkey, the fuel needs of consumers are met with the highest service and quality standards through approximately 13 thousand dealerships. Quality monitoring is carried out continuously at fuel dealerships with the Fuel Quality Monitoring System and at fuel filling terminals with the Depot Fuel Quality Monitoring System."
