Traffic insurance premium increase of 5 percent raised to 10 percent for January
The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK), using its authority, has increased the 5 percent premium hike it had set for traffic insurance for the first 4 months of 2024 to 10 percent for the month of January.
The circular regarding the decision in question was announced on the agency's official website.
Accordingly, the 5 percent premium increase for traffic insurance determined for the first 4 months of 2024 has been raised to 10 percent for January 2024.
The decision was taken in accordance with the Provisional Article 11 of the Regulation on the Principles of Tariff Application in Compulsory Financial Liability Insurance for Highway Motor Vehicles, published in the Official Gazette numbered 26582.
