Treasury borrows 1 billion lira
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance secured borrowing exceeding 1 billion TL, including pre-tender sales, in the re-issuance of a 2-year bond.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance borrowed 1 billion 13.1 million lira in the bond tender held today.
In the tender, a re-issuance of a 2-year (749-day) government bond with a 6.3 percent coupon payment every 6 months was conducted. The simple interest rate in the tender was 23.73 percent, and the compound interest rate was 25.14 percent.
In the tender, where nominal bids reached 2 billion 697 million lira, nominal sales amounted to 525 million lira, and net sales totaled 463.1 million lira.
In the tender, where the entire 200 million lira bid from the public sector was met, 596 million lira in bids were received from market makers, and 350 million lira in sales were made to this segment.
Thus, the Treasury borrowed a total of 1 billion 13.1 million lira in the tender.
