Weekly gainers and losers on Borsa Istanbul announced

Investors in the BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul closed a volatile week, marked by the possibility of escalating conflicts in Iran and uncertainty in global markets, with a gain in value. The index opened the week at 12,602.72 points and finished the week at 13,092.93 points, an increase of 2.35 percent. During the week, the index saw a low of 12,433.04 points and a high of 13,441.36 points.

Sectors across the stock exchange showed varying performances. While the banking index fell by 1.67 percent throughout the week, the industrial index gained 2.65 percent, and the holding index rose by 2.59 percent.

YEO TEKNOLOJI ACHIEVED THE HIGHEST PREMIUM

The standout stock of the week was Yeo Teknoloji (YEOTK); company shares finished the week with a 27.14 percent premium. This stock was followed by Dap Gayrimenkul (DAPGM) with a 20.14 percent rise and Enerjisa (ENJSA) with a 16.23 percent increase.

STOCKS AT THE BOTTOM AND HIGHEST TRADING VOLUMES

During the same period, Gürsel Turizm (GRSEL) led the list of stocks that lost the most value. While this stock lost 10.72 percent of its value, Efor Yatırım (EFOR) fell by 9.11 percent and Şok Marketler (SOKM) declined by 8.28 percent.

In terms of market capitalization, Aselsan (ASELS) maintained its top position with a value of 1 trillion 469 billion 460 million TL. Destek Finans Faktoring (DSTKF) ranked second with a market capitalization of 582 billion TL, and Enka İnşaat (ENKA) ranked third with 561 billion 900 million TL.

Among the most traded stocks, Tüpraş (TUPRS) topped the list with 67 billion 479 million TL. It was followed by Turkish Airlines (THYAO) with a trading volume of 63 billion 880 million TL, and then Akbank (AKBNK) with 46 billion 987 million TL.
