Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 1.01 percent on a weekly basis, while the gram selling price of gold rose by 1.44 percent, the euro/TL by 1.82 percent, and the dollar/TL by 0.24 percent.

Which investment instrument gained the most this week?

The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 7,529.31 and a high of 7,998.42 points, completed the week at 7,993.85 points, gaining 1.01 percent compared to the previous week's close.

The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 1.44 percent this week to 1,900 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold rose by 1.50 percent to 12,770 liras.

The selling price of quarter gold, which was 3,080 liras last weekend, rose to 3,126 liras.

This week, the US dollar gained 0.24 percent to reach 29.0460 liras, while the euro rose by 1.82 percent to 31.7110 liras.

Investment funds gained 0.04 percent and individual pension funds gained 0.15 percent this week. When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Fund Basket" funds with a gain of 1.68 percent.
