Violence against a doctor in Hatay: Punched and threatened with a knife
A patient at Samandağ State Hospital attacked a doctor during an examination, prompting security forces to take action. The individual, who was detained following the incident, has been sent to prison.
In an incident that occurred in the Samandağ district of Hatay, a dispute of unknown origin broke out between 52-year-old Tahsin T., who had visited the dermatology clinic for a check-up, and doctor Necva Kamacıali.
As the verbal altercation escalated quickly, Tahsin T. allegedly punched the 66-year-old doctor and then threatened her with a knife he was carrying. Hospital security guards intervened immediately and notified the police.
Upon receiving the report, teams arrived at the clinic in a short time and detained Tahsin T., who is accused of carrying out the attack. After completing the procedures at the police station, the suspect was arrested by the court and sent to prison.
