Bodrum Regional Port Authority President detained over bribery allegations
In an investigation conducted by the Bodrum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it is alleged that Port Authority President T.A. was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe.
Bodrum Regional Port Authority President T.A. has been detained as part of a bribery investigation conducted in the Bodrum district of Muğla.
According to the information obtained, the investigation was initiated by the Bodrum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Teams from the Bodrum Bureau of the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Department (KOM) carried out an operation at the Bodrum Port Authority as part of the investigation.
It is alleged that Port Authority President T.A. was caught red-handed during the operation while accepting a bribe. The teams conducted searches at the Port Authority building and in vehicles parked in front of the building.
It was learned that some materials were seized during the searches. T.A., who was detained following the procedures, was taken to the police station. It was stated that the investigation is ongoing.
