Daughter's internet searches draw attention in indictment regarding Güllü's death
In the indictment regarding the death of singer Güllü, the phone change and internet searches of her imprisoned daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, have been included in the file.
In the indictment prepared during the investigation into the death of singer Güllü, who lost her life after falling from the window of her home on September 26, 2025, the examinations conducted on digital materials belonging to her daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, drew attention.
In the file concerning Gülter, who was arrested following the incident on the grounds of "strong suspicion of a crime," the changing of her mobile phone, the factory resetting of the old device, and her internet search history were among the topics evaluated by the prosecutor's office.
PHONE CHANGE ENTERED THE FILE
According to the prosecutor's digital reports, Gülter changed the mobile phone she was using at the end of October, approximately one month after her mother's death. The investigation stated that WhatsApp and banking applications were installed on the new phone on October 31, 2025, and the device change was detected through incoming verification messages.
The determination that the old phone had been factory reset was also evaluated in the indictment as "supporting evidence that increases suspicion." The file noted that this action was significant in terms of digital data tracking within the scope of the investigation.
Another section in the indictment listed some internet searches Gülter made using her new device. The digital examination stated that there were searches regarding how long substances such as methamphetamine, cannabis, and cocaine can be detected in hair tests.
The searches included in the file featured phrases such as "Does methamphetamine show up in hair?", "How many days does cannabis take to leave hair?", "When is drugs cleared from hair?", "How long does cannabis stay in your body?", "Does it show up in a test if cannabis isn't used for 2 months?", "When does cocaine show up in hair?", and "haloperidol".
The examinations also indicated that searches such as "emotional mother quotes" and "orphan quotes" were made. The prosecutor's office evaluated this data obtained from digital materials together with other findings in the investigation file.
Another detail that drew attention in the file was an e-commerce search dated November 24, 2025. It was determined that Gülter had visited the product page of a board game titled "Unsolved cases serial killer case detective game finding the culprit" on a shopping site.
While the trial process continues, it is stated that the digital findings in the indictment will be evaluated along with the evidence during the court phase. The final verdict regarding the suspect will be given at the end of the trial.
