New appointment decision from HSK: Change of duty in Iğdır and Giresun chief public prosecutor's offices

The First Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has published its new decision containing certain duty changes in the judicial organization. With the decision dated September 10, 2026, the duty locations of a total of 5 judges and prosecutors were changed.

The decree proposal, which was handled as an off-agenda item during the meeting held by the HSK First Chamber with its full number of members, was accepted unanimously. Within the scope of decision number 1697, the transfers were finalized.

According to the decision, Iğdır Chief Public Prosecutor Meriç Dede was appointed as the Giresun Chief Public Prosecutor. Giresun Chief Public Prosecutor Zeynel Abidin Akkiraz was appointed as a Public Prosecutor at the Trabzon Regional Court of Justice.

Istanbul Anatolian Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Onur Yılmaz was appointed as the Iğdır Chief Public Prosecutor. Thus, with the decree, a change of duty was carried out in the Iğdır and Giresun chief public prosecutor's offices.
