Türkiye Sigorta Deputy General Manager Gürol Sami Özer has been arrested as part of a fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into transactions carried out in capital markets.

Özer, who was detained as part of the investigation, was taken to the Istanbul Courthouse following a medical check-up.
After giving his statement to the prosecutor, Özer was referred to the duty magistrate judge with a request for his arrest.
The court decided to arrest Özer.
