Verdict in the Ayşe Tokyaz murder case: Aggravated life sentence for former police officer Cemil Koç
Former police officer Cemil Koç has been sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment in the case regarding the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz.
The verdict has been announced in the case concerning the death of 22-year-old university student Ayşe Tokyaz, who was murdered in Küçükçekmece and whose body was found on the side of a road in Eyüpsultan.
Former police officer Cemil Koç was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment for the crime of "premeditated murder of a woman with monstrous feeling and by inflicting torture."
The court also imposed prison sentences of varying lengths on Koç for other charges brought against him in the case file.
