Weather forecasting expert Fevzi Burak Tekin has issued a downpour warning for Istanbul and some parts of the Marmara region.
Tekin stated that precipitation will be effective on Thursday in the coastal areas of Kırklareli, the eastern parts of Tekirdağ, and the vicinity of Istanbul.
According to the statement, the expectation of precipitation is particularly prominent along the northern and eastern lines of the Marmara region.
Citizens planning activities in Istanbul during the week are advised to monitor weather conditions for Thursday.
Tekin reported that no precipitation is expected in Ankara and İzmir for the next three days.
Accordingly, dry weather conditions are expected to continue in both major cities in the short term.
