Famous actor Kanbolat Görkem Arslan has passed away

Actor Kanbolat Görkem Arslan, who left a lasting impression with productions such as “Çemberimde Gül Oya,” “Poyraz Karayel,” and “Bir Deli Rüzgar,” has passed away at the age of 45.

Arslan, who most recently starred in the series “Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi,” fell ill at his home in Beyoğlu during the night. Following a report by his wife, medical teams were dispatched to the address. The actor, who received initial intervention at his home, was taken by ambulance to Taksim Training and Research Hospital. However, despite all efforts by the doctors, he could not be saved.

No official statement has yet been made by the hospital regarding Arslan's illness and the cause of his death.

WHO IS KANBOLAT GÖRKEM ARSLAN?

A graduate of the Hacettepe University State Conservatory Theater Department, Arslan had been active on theater stages since 1998. The actor, who stepped into his television career in 2004 with “Çemberimde Gül Oya,” took on roles in many series such as “Ezel,” “Yer Gök Aşk,” “Poyraz Karayel,” and “Hayat Bazen Tatlıdır.”

Arslan also took part in cinema projects, delivering performances in films such as “Daire,” “Yurt,” and “Teslimiyet.”
