140 individuals with arrest warrants apprehended during one-week inspections in Eskişehir

In Eskişehir, 140 individuals were apprehended during operations conducted by police and gendarmerie teams over the past week targeting wanted persons.

949 PERSONNEL PARTICIPATED

Teams from the Provincial Security Directorate and the Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted inspections throughout the province between October 19 and October 26, 2026. It was reported that the operations were carried out at 223 inspection points with the participation of 949 personnel.

During the checks, a total of 140 people were apprehended, including 97 individuals wanted for various crimes, 31 individuals with arrest records of up to 5 years, 9 individuals wanted for between 5 and 10 years, and 3 individuals wanted for 10 years or more.

Authorities stated that operations targeting wanted individuals are continuing throughout the province.
