Alarming fire at police housing
In the Kurtalan district of Siirt, 13 people were affected by smoke in a fire that broke out in a 3-story police housing unit.
The fire broke out in the basement of a 3-story police housing unit located in the Tekel neighborhood of Kurtalan district.
The fire, the cause of which is not yet known, grew in a short time. Upon notification, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The fire, which was extinguished by the intervention of fire crews, was brought under control before it could spread to the surrounding area.
Thirteen people affected by the smoke were taken to Kurtalan State Hospital. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
