Apartment manager stabbed in dues dispute loses his life
In Konya, an apartment manager who was critically injured after being stabbed during an argument with a tenant over apartment dues has passed away at the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
The incident occurred around 10:30 AM at a 4-story apartment building located on Emir Sadrettin Street in the Konevi neighborhood of the central Meram district.
According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between the tenant, Ali İhsan A., and the apartment manager, Ramazan Şimşek, over apartment dues.
As the argument escalated, Ali İhsan A. stabbed Ramazan Şimşek in the abdomen with a knife he had with him. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

Critically injured, Ramazan Şimşek was taken by ambulance to Konya Numune Hospital for treatment following initial intervention by medical teams.
The suspect, Ali İhsan A., was detained at the scene by police teams and taken to the police station. Despite all interventions at the hospital, the injured Ramazan Şimşek could not be saved and lost his life. Şimşek's body was taken to the morgue of the Konya Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
